Sweet Meadow is painted with a piping bag — the same tool a cake decorator uses — pressed directly onto canvas to create flowers so dimensional you'll want to reach out and touch them. Roses, ranunculus, lupins, tiny wild buds still finding their way up from the grass. A rosette sun. Clouds like piped meringues.

This piece is finished in rich, heavily textured acrylic impasto. The dimensionality means it catches light differently throughout the day — morning light will find it one way, afternoon light another.

Each original Bloom Studio artwork is created by Australian artist Shelley Bailey from her home studio with care, texture, colour, and personality. These pieces are built slowly in raised impasto layers, making every original artwork a one-of-one piece with its own surface, movement, and character.

Your painting arrives ready to hang and has been sealed with a protective archival varnish for UV protection, helping preserve the colour, texture, and finish of the artwork over time. Before leaving the studio, each piece is carefully inspected, then wrapped with love and care using protective materials so it can travel safely to its new home.
