Wish You Were Here

A little piece of somewhere peaceful.

Beyond a meadow of wildflowers, a quiet pond stretches towards the horizon, where distant trees disappear into the soft haze of an overcast sky.

Delicate creams, dusty pinks and deep raspberry blooms rise from a tangle of wild grasses, framing still waters that reflect the gentle colours of the clouds above.

There's something wonderfully nostalgic about places like this. Somewhere you might have wandered as a child, with nowhere in particular to be and all the time in the world to get there.

Wish You Were Here is an original acrylic landscape painting, combining softly blended, atmospheric brushwork with expressive palette knife details. The contrast between the delicate, misty distance and the richly layered wildflower meadow invites you to pause, wander and perhaps lose yourself for a little while.

A peaceful, romantic piece for anyone who appreciates the quiet beauty of the natural world.
